Choreographer Sahar LaDonna signs with WME trendy blogger

Choreographer, dancer and creative director Charm LaDonna has signed with WME to help build her profile as a filmmaker.

LaDonna choreographed Dua Lipa’s videos for “Dance the Night” and “Houdini.” Earlier this year, La’Donna took home an MTV Video Music Award for her work in the latter. She previously won in 2019 for the choreography of Rosalía and J Balvin’s “Con Altura.”

LaDonna also worked with Lipa on her recent tour and appearance at the Glastonbury Music Festival. Regarding her collaboration with Lipa, LaDonna said: “Your dedication and brilliance are truly inspiring.”

In a statement to diverse, “I am excited to join WME, an agency that aligns with my commitment to building my brand and realizing my creative aspirations,” said LaDonna. “Their experience will be instrumental as I begin this new chapter in my filmmaking career.”

As LaDonna moved into filmmaking, she also took part in major advertising campaigns with international brands including Louis Vuitton Fashion Week and Clinique.

According to her website, LaDonna began choreographing by touring with Madonna before studying world arts and culture at UCLA.

LaDonna is a protégé of Fatima Robinson, who choreographed last year’s “The Color Purple” and Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour.

LaDonna has previously worked with Selena Gomez, The Weeknd, Becky G, Meghan Trainor, and Shakira. Next, her work will appear in the musical film “Atlantis” directed by Pharrell Williams and Michel Gondry, which is scheduled for release in 2025. The film is described as an excursion to the summer of 1977 in the Virginia Beach neighborhood inspired by the Atlantis apartments of Williams’ childhood.
