Aleema Khan, the sister of former Prime Minister and founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan, claimed that there was a plan to eliminate her brother while he was in prison, and likened it to the death of former Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi. .

Aleema Khan also highlighted the widespread support her brother receives, both in Pakistan and globally. “Millions of Pakistanis and Muslims around the world pray for him every day. We love him, and Pakistan needs him,” she said, adding that Imran Khan faced multiple legal challenges but was acquitted of all charges, but remains behind bars.
She went on to claim that the ISI is currently in control of Adiala Prison, where her brother is being held. He asked: “Can you explain to the millions who are praying for his release why Imran Khan believes there is a plan to eliminate him in prison, just as they did with Morsi in Egypt?” she asked in her message.
The allegations made by Aleema Khan have raised concerns among PTI supporters, though there has been no official response from the authorities on the allegations.
