More than a dozen states have filed a lawsuit against TikTok for allegedly getting kids addicted to the popular video-sharing app. Internal court documents leaked this week allege that ByteDance, TikTok’s China-based parent company, has long known that the app and its algorithm could harm children’s mental health.
