London: Oxford University has not included the name of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan in the list of candidates to run for the position of University Chancellor.
The list listed approximately 40 candidates as candidates whose nominations were approved.
Khan, a former prime minister, had submitted his papers for the position, but while in prison, a leading UK law firm indicated that he was not eligible for the Oxford chancellorship under university regulations.
