KARACHI: Bahria University Karachi hosted the 6th Iqbal Conference on November 19, 2024, at Al Biruni Hall, BUKC, with the theme “Every Individual Shapes the Destiny of the Nation: Iqbal’s Call for Individual Responsibility and Collective Progress,” a press release said.
The conference explored Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s philosophy on personal and national development, as renowned scholars, policy makers and practitioners discussed Iqbal’s vision, its importance and strategies for promoting individual responsibility and collective progress.
The distinguished guests included Gholam Abbas Zapoli, Deputy Consul General of Iran, as guest of honor, Dr. Irfan Haider, VC Selim Habib University, as keynote speaker, and panelists Dr. Sarosh Heshmat Lodi, VC NED University, Dr. Amina Murad, Iqbal Specialist, Dr. Kiran Bashir, Director, IPP-BUKC, Dr. Adnan Kudia, Motivational Speaker, and Dr. Mustajis Rahman, Moderator.
The conference aims to enhance self-awareness, moral courage and social cohesion, and to inspire individuals to drive social transformation and contribute to national prosperity.
