General Asim Munir’s appreciation for Gandapur trendy blogger

During the high-level committee meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Army Commander General Asim Munir praised Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for his cooperation on matters of national importance.

One of the participants in the meeting revealed this confession, which was later confirmed by a source close to Gandapur. The Army Chief reportedly appreciated Gandapur’s collaborative efforts on key issues, including security and IMF-related matters.

The source revealed that Gandapur used the platform to address concerns about Imran Khan and the PTI movement, demanding Khan’s release from prison. He drew comparisons with previous privileges granted to Nawaz Sharif, who was allowed to travel to London for medical treatment during the PTI government, and Maryam Nawaz, who later led protests despite being a convict at the time.

Gandapur also reminded the committee of how Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz criticized the military establishment during their legal troubles.

Speaking on behalf of PTI, Gandapur said: “Imran Khan is our leader and the leader of millions. “He spent more than a year in prison without committing any crime.” He also raised concerns about persecution of PTI leaders and workers, citing restrictions on political activities such as meetings, rallies and marches in Punjab.
