Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s honey industry, which produces 20,000 tons annually through 60,000 honey farms, provides employment to 1.6 million people. The sector’s infrastructure includes extensive bee collections and processing facilities.

To further strengthen the industry, experts are being consulted regarding investments in honey bee populations and processing facilities. A proposal to establish a “honey council” dedicated to enhancing export capabilities is currently being considered.

This successful business initiative represents SIFC’s ongoing efforts to promote economic growth in Pakistan through strategic agricultural exports.
