Dubai (United Arab Emirates): Mrs. Asifa Bhutto Zardari, First Lady of Pakistan and Member of the National Assembly, participated in the Global Women’s Forum held in Dubai on Tuesday. A press release stated that the forum was organized by the Dubai Women Establishment.
The opening session of the forum was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE; Emine Erdoğan, First Lady of Turkey, and Luiz Araneta Marcos, First Lady of the Philippines.
The event attracted nearly 6,000 dignitaries and advocates for women’s empowerment and gender balance.
Asifa Bhutto Zardari also participated in the panel discussion, where she highlighted the positive contributions of women in Pakistan.
On the sidelines of the forum, Asifa Bhutto Zardari, the First Lady of Pakistan, held a bilateral meeting with Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed.
Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Member of the Dubai Council, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai.
During the two-day forum, Asifa Bhutto Zardari also interacted with Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Chairman and Managing Director of Dubai Women Establishment.
