Partner STZA and Tech7 for Rs. 15 billion private technology zone in islamabad – Trendy Blogger

The Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA) has entered into a landmark deal worth Rs. $15 billion zone development agreement with Tech7 (Private) Limited to establish a state-of-the-art Special Technology Zone (STZ) in Sector B-17 of Islamabad. The project is expected to act as a catalyst for Pakistan’s thriving digital economy and position the country as a regional technology hub.

The Tech7 STZ project spans 1.1 million square feet and will feature zero-carbon infrastructure and a LEED Gold-certified design, setting new standards for sustainable development. It will host state-of-the-art office space, co-working and co-living facilities, research laboratories, and high-speed internet connectivity to meet the evolving needs of the technology sector.

The area is backed by an initial private investment of Rs. 15 billion and is expected to attract an additional Rs. 12 billion from local and global technology companies in the coming years. With an expected annual export contribution of $50 to $100 million, the initiative underscores Pakistan’s ability to drive technological innovation and economic growth.
