Central Asia needs access to Pakistani ports: Aleem Khan – Trendy Blogger

Federal Minister for Privatization, Investment and Communications Board, Abdul Aleem Khan, emphasized the importance of trade corridors from Pakistan to Central Asian countries.

He stated that improved access to ports could significantly boost bilateral trade.

The minister’s statements came during his meeting with Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Pakistan Jerzhan Kastavin in Islamabad. He proposed establishing industrial product display centers for foreign companies, allowing products to be displayed and sold under one roof.

He also highlighted the need to improve road infrastructure to attract foreign investment, which he described as a crucial factor in improving the economy.

Abdul Aleem Khan stressed the potential of shared history, religion and cultural relations between Pakistan and Kazakhstan in strengthening bilateral relations.

Kazakh Ambassador Yerzhan Kastavin discussed investment opportunities, trade and trade corridors in Pakistan.

He stated that strengthening trade and economic relations with Pakistan is in line with Kazakhstan’s broader economic interests. He added that progress in these initiatives will become clear in the near future.
