The Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) has made important appointments to the boards of two major energy companies, Mary Petroleum Corporation Limited (MPCL) and Sui Southern Gas Corporation Limited (SSGCL), according to separate notifications sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday.
Mr. Mohamed Ramadan, Joint Secretary (A/CA), Petroleum Division, has been appointed Director of the Board of MPCL, effective December 27, 2024. He replaces Mr. Zafar Abbas.
Likewise, Mr. Momin Agha, Secretary, Petroleum Department, has been selected as an ex-officio director on the Board of Directors of SSGCL. His appointment was confirmed as of December 30, 2024, after being nominated by the Ministry of Energy.
Both companies have notified PSX to notify TRE certificate holders of these changes.
