Manji Dam solves the water crisis in Quetta with 80 million gallons in two years – Trendy Blogger

QUETTA: Balochistan Public Health Engineering Department Secretary Imran Jeshki announced that the Manji Dam project will be completed within two years, supplying 80 million gallons of water per day to Quetta and its surrounding areas.

He stated that the dam development work has been accelerated to ensure its timely completion. Once operational, the dam is expected to significantly address water shortages in the provincial capital.

Imran Jeshki further pointed out that the construction of the dam will also boost the groundwater level in the area, which mainly depends on rainwater for replenishment. The project aims to provide sustainable solutions to the challenges of water scarcity in Quetta.
