The Costume Designers Guild is set to honor Janelle Monáe as the recipient of the Vanguard Spotlight Award at the Costume Designers Guild (CDGA) Awards.

In Real Life Movies acquires distribution rights to documentary ‘The Thinking Game’
Greg Kuhs’ “The Thinking Game” has been picked up for distribution by In Real Life Movies and is scheduled to be shown in over 50 cinemas worldwide beginning February 2.
Premiering at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival, “The Thinking Game” follows the life of scientist and Nobel Prize winner Demis Hassabis, capturing moments of historic breakthrough in the creation of a landmark artificial intelligence laboratory.
In Real Life (IRL) Movie Club is a grassroots and community-minded non-profit film organization designed to support documentaries and provide intimate screenings that differ from traditional Q&As.

Reba McEntire is set to star in and produce a feature for the Wonder Project. The film will be a cinematic adaptation of Fannie Flagg’s New York Times bestselling novel “The All-Girlfilling Station’s Last Reunion.”
In this film from the Wonder Project based on “The All-Girlfilling Station’s Last Reunion,” Mrs. Sookie Ball of Point Clear, Alabama, has just married her daughter and is looking to relax. The only thing left to deal with is her domineering mother, Lenore Simmons Crackenberry 90-year-old, obsessed with family lineage and Southern heritage but when Sookie receives a series of mysterious letters indicating she is adopted, she is sent down a rabbit hole of self-discovery. It ultimately reveals the reckless story of Fritzi Gordabralenski and her sisters, a plucky group of women who ran the first All Girl filling station during World War II and eventually became the Air Force’s first female pilot.
Academy Award winner Callie Khoury will direct and produce the project. Tony Award-nominated playwright Becca Bronstetter will write the screenplay. Third Coast Content’s Ben Howard will serve as executive producer alongside Jeremy Latcham as producer of Wonder Project.
