Amazon MGM Studios and Universal Studios canceled the scheduled Tuesday night premieres of “Unstoppable” and “Wolf Man,” while Paramount canceled Wednesday’s premiere of “Peter Man,” amid Pacific fires and high winds.
“Due to the dangerous conditions affecting Los Angeles, we have canceled the premiere of ‘Better Man’ tomorrow,” a Paramount spokesperson said in a statement. “Our thoughts are with those affected by the devastating fires caused by these conditions, and we encourage everyone to stay safe and follow guidelines and orders from local officials and government agencies.”
“Unstoppable,” Anthony Robles’ biographical wrestling drama starring Jharrel Jerome and Jennifer Lopez, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, but was scheduled to have a red carpet screening Tuesday at the DGA in West Hollywood.
