Petrol prices rose by Rs 3.47 and HSD prices by Rs 2.61 per litre – Trendy Blogger

Islamabad: The federal government on Wednesday raised the price of petrol by Rs 3.47, taking it to Rs 256.13 per litre.

According to a notification from the Finance Department, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has increased by Rs 2.61 to Rs 260.95 per litre.

The new prices will come into effect from January 16, 2025.

Previously, the government announced a slight increase of Rs 0.56 in the price of petrol, bringing the rate to Rs 252.66 per litre.

Likewise, the price of high-speed diesel has been hiked by Rs 2.96 to Rs 258.34 per litre.
