The Pakistan Communications Authority (PTA) has reported a level of level for mobile operators (CMOS) in network coverage, broadband, sound services and short text messages based on the service quality survey (QOS) that was conducted during the fourth quarter of 2024.

The poll, conducted under service quality regulations for the 2021 cell phone network, evaluated collective management organizations in 17 cities. It included approximately 46,000 audio calls, short text messages tests, and 330,000 samples of broadband performance to evaluate compliance with the specified main performance indicators.

In the network coverage, Ufone ranked first, followed by Zong, Jazz, and Telenor. For 4G/LTE signal power, Zong topped the highest compliance level, while UFONE’s performance was good in many areas. Jazz showed satisfactory results, although it ranked less than Zong and Ufone in some measures, while Telenor has been constantly left behind.

Broad performance tests have shown that Zong is the leading company in downloading and downloading, followed by JAZZ, UFONE and Telenor. In the web pages download times, jazz ranked first, and Zong ranked second, while Ufone and Telenor ranked second.

The main performance indicators of the audio service, including access to the network, the rate of success of the call preparation and the completion of the call, revealed mixed results. Zong and Jazz’s performance was the best in voice calls, while UFONE and Telenor retreated. For short text messages services, Zong has emerged as a leading company, followed by UFONE, Telenor, and Jazz.

The preferential trade agreement stressed that collective management organizations must fulfill the standards of service quality or exceed, while designing surveying methods to cover the maximum population areas. The authority continues to monitor performance to ensure compliance and improve the user’s experiences throughout Pakistan.
