Islamabad: The Minister of Finance and Federal Revenue, Senator Mohamed Orangazib chaired the meeting of the Cabinet Committee on the rights of the federal government here on Thursday to review the restructuring of the Ministry of Information and National Broadcasting.
The meeting focused on the recommendations of the sub -committee chaired by Salman Ahmed, the ambassador in general, regarding restructuring, according to the press statement issued by the Ministry of Finance.
After extensive consultations and a comprehensive examination of the scope of work and the impact of the general policy of the attached departments, the sub -committee presented the results of the committee.
The proposals included recommendations aimed at enhancing the productivity and efficiency of various departments, ensuring more influential activities, and improving the provision of public services.
The sub -committee report also made many recommendations, including potential integration, job transmission, third -party reviews, and a clear timing to achieve self -sustainability.
These measures aim to lead to the creation of more and more efficient organizational structures within the framework of the Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and the National Division of Heritage and Culture, in line with the government’s commitment to imparting the rights.
During the meeting, the proposals were discussed in detail, taking into account the reactions from both the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the National Heritage and Culture Department.
Members of the committee and senior officials from the relevant ministries actively participated in the discussions.
The final recommendations will be submitted by the Council of Ministers on the determination of rights soon and submitted to the Federal Cabinet for approval.
