Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) successfully started production by Bettani-2 Bires evaluation in Lakki Marwat and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The energy giant revealed this development in a notice to the Pakistani Stock Exchange (PSX) on Friday, according to Article 96 of the Securities Law, 2015, and paragraph 5.6.1 (A) of PSX regulations.
OGDC is a Wali Exploration Licensing Operator with a 100 % work interest.
“In reference to our previous disclosure of December 13, 2024, regarding the discovery of the gas condensation in the formation of Samanasok in Bettani-02, the OilCl Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL), as a 100 % Wali License for License for Exploration by 100 % interest, started successful production from Bettani- 2 Rating a well in the Laki Marwat region, Khyber Bakhtongua, “Read OGDCL notice.
After completing the composition of Kawagarh, the well currently produces 8.5 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of gas and 610 barrels per day (BPD) of oil.
The gas produced in the Bettani processing factory is treated from OGDCL and is injected into the Sui Nortern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) network for distribution.
OGDCL said this achievement reflects its commitment to exploration and advanced production, which enhances its leadership in the energy sector.
