Dubai (United Arab Emirates): Ambassador Faisal Nias Termesi visited a Pakistan envoy to the University of Heriot Wat Dubai, where he made an insightful presentation on historical and strategic relations between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
During his presentation, Ambassador Termesi highlighted the rich cultural and historical heritage in Pakistan, as its roots return to ancient civilizations such as the Sindh Valley civilization and Gandara civilization. He stressed that Pakistan, its vibrant history, provides a unique cultural imprint in the modern world.
“With the five largest population in the world, 68 % of Pakistan citizens are under the age of 30, which represents tremendous potential. Geographically, Pakistan is proud of breathtaking landscapes in its homeland for the world’s most powerful mountain ranges-in the Himalayas, Koracoram and Hindus Kush.
Speaking of Pakistan’s relations, Ambassador Trezezi highlighted the deep link between the two countries, which spanned 70 years. He praised the visionary leadership of the late His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the comfort of His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al -Maktoum, who set its basic efforts for this permanent partnership.
Ambassador Termesi emphasized common values, geographical proximity, cultural relations, and the compatibility of regional and global issues that enhance the bilateral relationship. He pointed out that Pakistan was the first country to recognize the United Arab Emirates and sent its envoy six months before the formation of the country in 1971. He also pointed out that the Pakistani experts and professionals.
With a commercial volume of $ 10 billion annually, foreign direct investment in Pakistan is estimated at $ 2.9 billion, the economic partnership continues to prosper. In addition, 1.8 million Pakistani live in the United Arab Emirates as a vital bridge, which greatly contributes to the prosperity of both countries.
The ambassador encouraged students and faculty members to visit Pakistan, explore its amazing natural beauty, its various cultures and rich food. He also called on Pakistani students to bring international friends in their visits to promote the vibrant tourism potential in Pakistan and the warm hospitality.
The interactive session ended with the enthusiastic participation of students, who expressed their appreciation of the visions that the ambassador shares and expressed interest in increasing the exploration of Pakistan’s heritage and its chances.
