The Labor Party has agreed to develop the Punjab Province (PDWP) on two main development projects worth 13.72 billion rupees. The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Planning and Development Board (P&D) Nabil Ahmed Awan.
The approved projects include the construction of the South Punjab Municipality and the government housing (GOW) in Bahawalpur and two funds at a cost of 4.72 billion rupees. The project aims to enhance administrative infrastructure in southern Punjab.
In addition, 9.2 billion rupees were allocated to social and economic survey at the boycott level to establish the social and economic registry in Punjab (PSER).
The initiative is expected to provide a comprehensive database for policy planning and targeted social welfare programs.
