Four officials of the Punjab Cooperative Board of Directors (PCBL) was arrested, and the aviation information area was presented against them and several members of their numbers for their participation in the large land fraud, including the illegal occupation and the sale of government owned property, according to a news report.
ACE Lahore launched an investigation into allegations that the state’s lands were busy and illegally selling them using false documents.
According to Fir position, approximately 225 Kanals of government lands and converted into private housing plans were transferred. It is claimed that the plan includes PCBL officials who facilitated the illegal occupation and selling lands registered under various numbers of sisters. Fake documents have been created, and reassuring buyers bought plots that have been illegally developed.
Despite the official investigation and directives of the Lahore Court to conduct a land survey, PCBL employees were said to have appointed the operation, allowing to combat land to maintain possession. Some of the characteristics that were seized by the authorities have also been re -occupied through collusion between corrupt officials and individuals.
A total of 41 individuals, including PCBL officials, real estate consultants, revenue employees, security personnel, and beneficiaries of the private sector, have been named in the case. The investigation is continuing, and it expects more arrests.
Meanwhile, the Regional Directorate of the Anti -Corruption Corporation (ACE) has called for Lahore, senior PCBL officials to conduct an investigation into financial violations. The agency requested information about 200,000 investors, mortgage files, rental agreements, and payment managers.
The summons specifically requires the emergence of PCBL officials responsible for claims, recovery and financial records over the past decade.
The authorities have warned that the failure to comply will lead to legal action under Section 172-173 of the PPC. The investigation aims to recover the wrong land and hold those responsible accountable.
