Pakistan, Organization of the Islamic Conference to discuss trade and development cooperation

The Federal Minister of Trade, Kamal Khan, met with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Secretary -General of Husitin Brahim Taha in Jeddah, to explore ways to enhance economic, commercial and development relations between member states Organization of the Islamic Conference.

During the meeting, Khan again affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to deeper communication with the Organization of the Islamic Conference, while emphasizing that high -level reactions are necessary to enhance stronger economic and strategic partnerships within the Islamic world. The Prime Minister’s appreciation for the participation of the Secretary-General in the International Conference for Girls’ Education in Islamic Communities, which was held in Islamabad on January 11-12, praised the efforts of the Organization of the Islamic Conference in the progress of empowering women through member states.

The minister highlighted economic and commercial communication as it is extremely important to regional prosperity and stability. He praised the leadership of the Secretary -General in facilitating trade and development initiatives, which confirms its role in enhancing cooperation within utensils.

Taha’s invitation to visit the ongoing Made in Pakistan An exhibition at the Jeddah International Center for Exhibitions and Conferences, Khan Al -Hadath described as a major initiative to present the industrial capabilities of Pakistan and enhance economic cooperation with the modified countries of the organization and the UNEatic Cooperation Organization. He also repeated the emphasis on Pakistan’s commitment to hosting the eighteenth trade fair in Lahore later this year, as it requested the support of the Organization of the Islamic Conference for its success.

The Secretary -General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference of Pakistan welcomed the proactive approach to Pakistan for economic integration within the organization and recognized its efforts in promoting trade and development between member states. He praised the role of Pakistan in strengthening greater cooperation in the Organization of the Islamic Conference and repeated the organization’s commitment to facilitate trade, investment and sustainable growth in the Islamic world.

At the end of the meeting, Khan recorded his statements in the book of the Guests of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, expressing Pakistan’s strong belief in the organization’s ability to unite and raise the Muslim nation through economic cooperation. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to joint initiatives that aim to enhance trade and investment partnerships and development partnerships between member states Organization of the Islamic Conference.
