The distinguished dues of the energy -related energy sector in Balochistan increased to 530 billion rupees, as neither farmers nor the boycott government paid the dues of each.

According to a news report, despite an agreement between federal governments and Walnchia on the agricultural tube of solar energy, many consumers failed to pay its monthly share of 10,000 rupees, as well as any additional fees exceeding 75,000 rupees.

According to the NEPRA consumer service guide, energy distribution companies have the power of separation of backward people to prevent more accumulation of arrears.

However, QUETTA Electric Supply (Qesco) chose a lenient approach, which reduced the hours of display instead of separating unpaid agricultural consumers.

The agreement between federal governments and regional governments stipulates that the previous support mechanism will end as soon as the solar transfer process is completed, but the transition is still incomplete.

In addition, the Baluchistan government has not paid its subsidies since July 2024, which has increased the financial situation of Qesco. It also imposed a previous agreement on granting an additional 8 billion rupees of federal governments and regional governments to cover the electricity supply extended to agricultural consumers, but these payments are still ongoing.

Qesco, who is already facing financial difficulties, urged the federal government to bring the matter before the Council of Ministers to ensure that support payments are continuing under the current form until solar energy is fully implemented.

The company also asked the Energy Department to pressure the Baluchistan Government for early payment of 56 billion rupees as late agricultural subsidies and the issuance of a grant of 8 billion rupees committed to additional power generation supplies.
