The head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Waziristan (WCCI) and two customs officers in South Waziristan were kidnapped on Thursday, which raised concerns between the local business community.
According to reports, WCCI President Sephor Rahman, customs supervisor Nicar Abbasi, and Inspector Khoshal, were returning from the customs office at the Angore Ada border crossing when individuals whose identity did not identify their car and took them to an unknown location, according to Deputy Commissioner Nasser Khan.
The District and Police Administration launched an investigation, although the official aviation information area has not yet been registered. The place of the three men remained unknown at the time of reports, raising fears between local merchants and residents.
The Wana Co -currency and WCCI Syndicate condemned the incident, and the government and security agencies urged immediate measures to recover it.
Traders have warned that such incidents negatively affect commercial operations and threaten protests if the situation in the law and order does not improve. Local residents also called on the security forces to take decisive steps to prevent more kidnappings and restore confidence between the business community and the public.
