The Federal Senator for Finance and Revenue left Senator Mohamed Uranzib to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Saturday to participate in the Alla Ola Economics Conference for the Emerging Market Economics, which will be held on February 16-17.
It is accompanied by Khuram Shahzad, Advisor to the Minister of Finance in economic and financial reforms, and the event is attended by the invitation of Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed Al -Jadan. The conference, which was organized in cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Saudi Ministry of Finance, will be held in the historical city of Alu.
The two -day event will include nine sessions, with 200 participants and 36 speakers from 48 countries. Finance Minister Uranzeeb’s participation is highlighted by Pakistan’s recent economic policy measures, which contributed to stability despite the global and regional challenges.
Aurangzeb is scheduled to participate in the discussion of a high -level plate, which was moderated by the Administrative Director of International Monetary University, Crystalina Georginiva, entitled “The Road to Emerging Markets”. Finance ministers from Egypt, Brazil and Turkey will join the discussion.
The conference is scheduled to become an annual event in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a focus on strengthening the global economy by enhancing ideas and cooperation between emerging and developing economies. It will combine finance ministers, central bank governors, policy makers, experts from international organizations and private sector representatives.
The event aims to face the major global economic challenges, including trade tensions, geopolitical risks and financial fluctuations, while exploring emerging economies to build flexibility in a sophisticated global scene.
