Dubai (United Arab Emirates): Ambassador Faisal Faisal Nias Termesi, Pakistan envoy in the United Arab Emirates, opened the Pakistan Pavilion in the thirtieth edition of Golfood 2025 held at the Dubai World Trade Center from 17 to 11 February. Food and Beverage Trade Exhibitions, which include more than 5,500 exhibitors from 129 countries. Consul General Hussein Mohamed and Trade and Investment Adviser Ali Zeeb Khan also attended at the opening ceremony.
Under the umbrella of the Pakistan Commercial Development Authority (TDAP), 45 Pakistani companies participate in this event, and display a wide range of agricultural products, including rice, grains, meat, dairy, spices, cheese, treated food, bakery, elements, salt, herbal products, honey, gardening, juices, and drinks .
In total, more than 200 Pakistani companies are particularly involved in GULFOOD 2025, reflecting the increasing presence of the country in the World Food Market.
Ambassador Termesi expressed his pride in the participation of Pakistan, saying: “It is a very proud issue that 45 companies under TDAP will participate, along with a total of 200 Pakistani companies separately, in this prestigious event. Local and world Pink and cheese. “
The ambassador also highlighted the upward trend in agricultural exports in Pakistan, especially in the Middle East and North Africa, and emphasized the role of the United Arab Emirates as one of the main commercial partners in Pakistan. He added: “GULFOOD offers an unparalleled platform for cooperation and innovation, which enables Pakistani exporters to maximize job opportunities to job opportunities through exchanging knowledge, networks and cooperation with global business leaders.”
Ali Zeep Khan, a trade and investment advisor, participated that the Pakistani agricultural food exports amounted to 8 billion dollars worldwide in the 24th fiscal year, which represents an increase of 37 % compared to the previous year. This growth was driven by great increases in the exports of rice, corn, sesame, meat, and foods that are food and vegetables.
Shapir Trader, Chairman of the Pakistani Business Council, pledged full support for Pakistani exhibitors, with a focus on the council’s commitment to promote Pakistani products in the UAE and abroad.
Malik Faisal Jahangir, President of the Rice Exporters Association in Pakistan (ReAP) expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Trezezi and the Commercial Department, the Pakistani consulate in Dubai to support and facilitate it, which had an effective role in promoting Pakistan’s participation in global trade events such as GULFOOD.
