
Sharjah (United Arab Emirates): The Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park hosted the Day of Innovation, as part of the month of innovation in the United Arab Emirates “EAE Innovates 2025”, which celebrates the tenth anniversary of its founding this year as the largest national innovation festival in a country.
The two -day event was organized by SRTIP in coordination with the Federal Affairs Office in Sharjah and the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation. It collected a large number of government entities in Sharjah and offered some of the latest projects and innovative services.
This event was attended by Sheikh Soud bin Sultan Al -Qassimi, Director General of the Digital Office of Sharjah, as well as many heads and managers of government entities and the private sector in Sharjah, highlighting the emirate’s commitment to promoting innovation and digital transformation.
Hussein Al -Muhammadi, CEO of SRTI Park, stressed the importance of this event in enhancing cooperation across sectors and enhancing innovation as a major engine for economic and knowledge -based development.
“We are proud to host this event in SRTI Park, which enhances Sharjah’s role in supporting government innovation and entrepreneurship. He said that innovation is the driving force behind sustainable development, and this event offers an ideal platform for exchanging ideas, sharing experience, and inspiring future generations for innovation.”
He praised the efforts of all entities and founders participating in their valuable contributions to the success of this event, which highlights the importance of such initiatives in supporting the vision of the United Arab Emirates to establish itself as a global center for innovation.
An annual platform to enhance the culture of innovation
Apir Taylak, director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Innovation Center, confirmed that the Emirati innovation month is a unique annual platform to enhance the culture of innovation within the government and society. It provides an environment that enhances the development of sustainable ideas and progress aimed at enhancing the quality of life in the United Arab Emirates.
She praised the distinguished Sharjah initiatives and coherent participation in the UAE since the first version. Tahlak also pointed out that the United Arab Emirates was innovated in 2025, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation, which played a decisive role in including innovation in government initiatives and projects. She emphasized that this year’s event was designed to create a positive impact on society, consensus with the vision of the United Arab Emirates and leadership aspirations for the community.
Knowledge -based economy support
This year’s innovation day activities were held at SRTI Park, a major center for innovation and cooperation between various sectors. This event provided a strategic opportunity to exchange knowledge between the participants, inspire future generations, stimulate investment and economic landscapes, and enhance partnerships between government and private entities, as well as academic institutions, to create new opportunities that support the knowledge economy.
A large number of government entities participated in this event, showing 14 interactive pavilions that include the models of the initial model and advanced innovative solutions aimed at progressing various sectors.
The event also distinguished a major suite for paintings and presentations that cover topics such as the innovation of the data center, digital transformation, health care and sustainability.
In addition, sessions were conducted on sustainable innovation, as well as tours directed to the exhibition wings. Sharjah Police made a special presentation entitled “Innovation for a safer tomorrow”, highlighting the role of technology in enhancing security and safety.
The day of innovation was a unique opportunity to explore the latest technological developments and government innovations, and to enhance cooperation between cross-sectors to build a more sustainable and innovative future-compatibility with the UAE’s vision to become a global center for innovation.
