Pakistan is scheduled to sign the main energy and trade deals with Azerbaijan during the next visit

Prime Minister Shehabz Sharif is scheduled to start a two -day official visit to Azerbaijan on February 24, where he will participate in high -level discussions aimed at strengthening trade relations and securing agreements in the energy and infrastructure sectors. During the trip, Pakistan and Azerbaijan are expected to sign major agreements, including the establishment of a commercial company to simplify bilateral trade.

Another important development is the expected deal between Pakistani government oil (PSO) and Azerbaijan Oil Company, which will deepen cooperation in the energy sector. In addition, the two countries are likely to give a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to the gas pipeline project, which enhances their energy cooperation.

Azerbaijan also showed great interest in investing in the telecommunications sector in Pakistan, as well as rapid road infrastructure projects, with discussions to explore new opportunities to expand trade between the two countries.

After visiting Azerbaijan, Prime Minister Sharif will travel to Uzbekistan on an official visit for one day, and to continue his efforts to enhance regional and international trade relations in Pakistan.
