Lahore: The Punjab government presented rupees. The Minister of Information in Punjab, Azma Bukhari, announced on Saturday that 30 billion bouquets of Ramazan relief, as they provided direct cash assistance to three million families, on the occasion of the first in the history of the boycott.
She stated that the initiative aims to ensure financial aid to the citizens of the eligible class and the middle class in dignity, which eliminates the inconvenience in the distribution process. In addition to cash assistance, 80 bazaars of Ramadan were created throughout the Punjab to provide subsidized commodities, including ghee, sugar, flour, legumes, vegetables and fruits, at lower prices than the open market.
Bukhari reiterated that no subsidy was withdrawn, and reports were rejected about the high prices in Ramadan bazaars as an unfounded propaganda. She emphasized that these markets continue to work smoothly, as it hosted Lahore 10 bazaars, the eighth, and the VIIPNIPNE, Pilsepad, Gilum, and Nantana three, ensuring the ability to afford costs in the regions.
The relief efforts of the Punjab government were widely estimated, as citizens prefer Ramadan bazaars over the open markets due to significant differences in prices.
