Elon Musk has acquired artificial intelligence, XAI, a millions of square feet in southwest Memphis, Tennessee, which represents a great step in its efforts to expand the infrastructure of Amnesty International.
The new facility supports the company’s plans to develop Colossus SuperCanted, which is scheduled to include at least one million GPUs, after a previous announcement in December.
Colossus SuperCanter is essential in the Musk strategy of obtaining a competitive advantage in making artificial intelligence, especially in the light of tensions with Openai and its CEO, Sam Altman. The Great Memphis Chamber indicated that Colossus is moving towards the “superior size” shown in the Xai Declaration in December.
The expansion raised concerns about environmental groups due to the high energy consumption of data centers. However, the Memphis room highlighted that the new Xai facility includes a $ 80 million water recycling factory and features the world’s largest publication for Tesla Megapacks for data center operations.
In addition, Tesla plans to build a similar factory worth millions of square feet in Texas to store and manage Megapack, as stated earlier this week.
