Islamabad: In surprising revelation, it prompted that Pakistan’s electricity consumers paid an amazing rupe. 18.86 billion in TV fees over the past two years.
This information was revealed by the Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Atallah Tarar, who provided the details in a written response during a session of the National Assembly.
The collapse of these fees shows that the Pakisto Electricity Company (Pepco) collected rupees. 16.64 billion consumers across the country through electricity bills under the TV category. Meanwhile, K-Electric, a Kratchi’s utility provider, accused rupees. 2.21 billion for the same purpose.
This huge amount highlights the large amount collected from electricity users for television charges over the past two years.
