IslamabadFinance Minister Mohamed Uranzib expressed his confidence that Pakistan is about to finish an agreement with the International Monetary Fund (the International Monetary Fund). He stated that the talks are in the final stages, with no significant obstacles.
In a media briefing on Friday, Aurangzeb stressed that Pakistan is advancing well towards achieving the economic goals of the International Monetary Fund, reassuring the public that discussions are scheduled to conclude positively.
The Minister of Finance affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to maintaining financial discipline, citing the government’s efforts to adhere to the financial framework established by the International Monetary Fund.
Continuous discussions focus on securing the following segment of financing, which is vital for the economic recovery of Pakistan.
Last week, Nathan Porter, head of the International Monetary Fund mission in Pakistan, indicated that significant progress has been made for the final touches on an employee level agreement on the first review of the Pakistani loan program of $ 7 billion. In addition to economic issues, Aurangzeb took the urgent issue of climate change. The PAC session also revealed that the federal government is scheduled to grant Finance Minister Uranquit “Emperor -like powers” to agree to the special honor of employees and employees from various government departments.
