Karachi: Al -Ghazi Jarrat Limited (PSX: AGTL) recorded a profit after a tax of 3.54 billion rupees in 2024, which reflects an increase of 35.63 % on an annual basis (YOY) from 2.61 billion rupees in the same period last year, according to the financial statement of the company on Tuesday. The arrow’s profits (EPS) increased to 61.11 rupees from 45.06 rupees.
Revenue remained fixed at 34.57 billion rupees, which represents a marginal increase of 0.09 % on an annual basis. However, a 7.04 % decrease in sales cost to 26.14 billion rupees led to an increase of 31.32 % in the total profit, which amounted to 8.43 billion rupees.
On the expenses, the distribution costs increased by 87.61 % to 804.79 million rupees, while administrative expenditures increased by 35.68 % to 1.47 billion rupees. Another income fell 43.65 % to 315.63 meters rupees, while other expenses fell 24.73 % to 323.53 million rupees.
Funding costs increased by 25.36 % to 446.77 million rupees. Although 86.90 % increased in the final tax tax, the company’s profit increased by 21.78 % to 5.71 billion rupees. Income tax expenses increased by 4.34 % to 2.16 billion rupees, ultimately pushing net growth in profits by 35.63 % on an annual basis.
