Rodeo FX – a VFX company that includes “Game of Thrones” and “Stranger Things” and working on “DENE DUNE” for Denis Villeneuve (Parts 1 and 2) – reports that they got the Technicolor Mikros Mikros unit after the Tecnicolor parents closed last month. The conditions of the deal were not revealed. Also, it is not immediately clear that the number of former animation employees in Mikros will join the project.
The Paris -based Technicolor Company is the parent company of VFX GIANT MPC, VFX Studio Commercial The Mill, Mikros Animation and Technicolor Gaming. The closure affected thousands of artists all over the world. After its closure, which started on February 24, Global Games Games was obtained by translating the global language and AI Tech Business Transerfect. Also, a group of employees who worked in The Mill in the US launched a new project, Arc Creative, supported by Dream Machine FX.
Rodeo FX indicates that its acquisition of Mikros animation includes its commercial brand and operations in Paris and Canada, in addition to equipment of Technicolor Canada, with the aim of continuing the studio activities, which included simultaneously from Technicolor’s 24 February Sequile Patrol and Paramount Mutant Ninja Turks.

Rodeo FX maintains studios in Montreal, Quebec, Toronto, Los Angeles and Paris. The current and upcoming projects include “Dune: Propecy”, “House of the Dragon” season 2 and “The Rings of Power” Season 2.
