DRAP recalls SPHendard after complaints

The Pakistan Pharmaceutical Regulatory Authority (DRAP) issued an immediate summary of many pharmaceutical products after receiving complaints from the Control Control (DDC) regarding its lonely quality.

According to a news report, the products summoned include AMLO SHINE 5MG Tablet (Registration No. 062420), which were manufactured by M/S SUNSHINE Pharmaceuticals, Gujranwala. Each tablet device contains Amlodipine as Besyla 5MG (Batch No. 7974).

Another product called is Tyclan 400MG Powder (Registration No. 087923), produced by M/S Mti Medical (PVT) LTD, Lahore. Each vial contains Teicoplanin BP 400MG (TL-011 Patch number).

In addition, LINCO-HCL 600MG (No. 023729), manufactured by M/S Trigon Pharmaceuticals (PVT), Lahore, is part of the recall. Every 2 ml ampoule contains Lincolcin like HCL 600MG (Batch LN-042). M/S AHAD International Pharmaceuticals Ltd, DERA ISMAIL Khan was called. Each vial 100ml contains Metronidazole 500mg (batch number SJU-1724).

M/S Kwality Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Amritsar, India. Each 1 ml contains ketamine hydrochloride equivalent to ketamine 50mg.

DRAP emphasized that the use of low products can lead to the failure of treatment and an increase in the risk of complications, especially in weak groups such as individuals who suffer from immunodeficiency, children and the elderly.

The Authority has urged health care providers and consumers to ensure that these products are removed from blood circulation to prevent potential damage.
