Islamabad: In a historic car of the automotive industry in Pakistan, Honda Atlas Pakistan (HACPL) vehicle has officially exports, as the first batch of 40 units of 40 Honda 1.2L units sent to Japan. This achievement represents an important step towards integrating Pakistan into the global auto market.
The launch ceremony, which was held at the Honda Atlas Factory, was attended by Pakistan cars, stakeholders in the government and industry. The Assistant Prime Minister (SAPM) for Industries and Production, Mr. Haroun Akhtar Khan, was the main guest, who was joined by the Minister of the Ministry of Industries and Production, Mr. Seif Anjoom, and CEO of the Engineering Development Council, Mr. Khouda Baksh Ali.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Industries and Production on Saturday, CBU (full -built) exports reinforced the company’s commitment to manufacturing standards at a global level. This step also determines the way to expand future in other international markets.
Speaking at the ceremony, Sapm Harun Akhtar Khan praised the car in Honda Atlas Pakistan to make great progress in the car industry in the country. He highlighted that a successful export to Japan offers Pakistan’s potential as a reliable and export center.
Mr. Khan said: “The government is still committed to supporting the auto sector through favorable policies and infrastructure development. This achievement reflects the increasing ability in Pakistan in the international auto industry and is in line with the vision of Prime Minister Shaybaz Sharif to the industrial economy led by export and sustainable.”
During this event, the President and CEO of HACPL, Mr. Takafumi Kokee, repeated Honda’s dedication to innovation, quality and sustainability. He emphasized that exporting to a very competitive market like Japan is a testimony to improve manufacturing standards in Pakistan.
In addition, the head of HACPL, Mr. Amer E. Shirazi, appreciated the government’s support in creating a business friendly environment. He encouraged more policy measures to enhance local production and increase exports.
The event was characterized by the tape shot ceremony, which officially represents the beginning of the HACPL export trip, followed by the tree farm campaign, which enhances Honda’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
