IslamabadIn 2025 Ramadan has handed over the second best returns to the Pakistani Stock Exchange (PSX) since 2015, according to a report issued by ARIF Habib Limited (AHL). During this period, the KSE-100 index recorded 5.2 %.
AHL highlighted that, historically, the average return during Ramadan since 2015 was 1.3 %. However, Ramadan 2024 witnessed the best performance, with a 6.9 % KSE-100 % rise.
In March 2025, KSE-100 maintained a positive momentum, reaching the highest level in the day 119,000 points, greatly driven by optimism surrounding the ongoing discussions with the International Monetary Fund (International Monetary Fund).
The index closed at 117,806.74 points in the final trading session in March 2025, which represents a profit more than 4,500 points from 113,251.67 points at the end of February.
