Prepare for a lot of MPTOP in a short period of time. Sam Minds makes four films in the Beatles – and all four will be released in April 2028.
The director, who announced the news in Cinemacon, also confirmed the casting that was very identified. But he did not want to make a miniature series and worried that “the story was very huge so that it does not fit with one movie.” Therefore, he reached a plan to tell the story of “The Great Group in History” from the perspective of each of its members, to try to capture their unbearable journey from Liverpool to the World Culture Center. This means four independent features and one of the biggest bets in the history of the movie.
“It is an opportunity to understand them more deeply,” Mendes promised.
The film is also the first narrative feature that is granted music rights in the widespread Beatles catalog of visits such as “Strawberry fields”, “Let It Be”, “I am the walrus”, “GuPmarine Yellow” and … a lot of what he mentions here.
Mendez said the main photography in the four films will take a year, a sign of his huge effort. Tom Rochd, President of Sony Pictures who supervised the production on the James Cameron Science Fiction epic when he was in Fox, joking that Mendes was giving him “Avatar”.
