“Billy Joel: Thus it goes”, it will be the original two -part HBO documentary, it will be the opening night of the Tribeca 2025 Festival. CEO of the Trebika Festival and co -founder Jane Rosental announced the programming night on the stage at the Nab Show entertainment exhibition.
“For nearly 25 years, the Tripika Festival celebrated the artists who give New York her heart and spirit,” said Rosental. “On the opening night of the 2025 festival, we are pleased to honor Billy Joel – an artist that embodies that soul itself. In honor of the legendary performance that acquired the essence of” a mental state in New York “is an ideal way to start celebrating this year for creativity and inspiration.”
This year’s Tribeca Festival will be run from June 4 to June 15 in New York City, and it includes a group of films, music, television, voice stories novel, live conversations, games and overwhelming programming. “Billy Joel: Thus he goes”, which will open the festival on Wednesday 4 June, described as “a wide picture of Billy Joel’s life and music, exploring love, loss and personal conflicts that feed the writing of songs,” according to a press statement.
“With unprecedented arrival to unprecedented shows, home films, and personal photos, along with extensive and in -depth interviews, the documentary is closely exploring the life and work of Joel, whose music endured through generations,” the description continues.
“Billy Joel: Thus he goes” is directed and produced by Jessica Levin and Suzanne Lassi.
