Pia to launch international flights to Uzbekistan, private airlines to enhance trade and tourism

Pakistani International Airlines (PIA) will soon launch international flights to Uzbekistan, where private airlines also participate in accelerating links between the two countries. This initiative follows directives from Prime Minister Shehabz Sharif.

During a meeting between a special assistant to the Prime Minister in Industries and Production, Harun Akhtar Khan, and the Minister of Tourism in Uzbekistan, Omd Shadif, who was accompanied by Ambassador Ozbik to Pakistan, Alisher Tuktav. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in tourism, cultural exchange and the preservation of joint heritage.

Khan stressed that Pakistan is committed to strengthening tourism relations with Uzbekistan, as Prime Minister Shehabz Sharif envisions major projects aimed at increasing tourism and cultural exchanges, and enhancing the people’s connections to the people between the two countries. The Prime Minister’s vision includes benefiting from the uniformity capabilities of Central Asia for economic and cultural development.

Shadi Al -Shadi acknowledged the increasing cooperation between the two countries, pointing to the successful signature of many memoranda of understanding (Mous). He stressed the importance of enhancing mutual cooperation to support diligent people in both countries.

Khan highlighted the important role of tourism in leading economic growth and exports. In addition to the upcoming flights of PIA, private airlines will participate to enhance trade and tourism. Establishing efforts to simplify travel operations, including facilitating the visa, to facilitate people from both countries travel and explore mutual opportunities.

Khan, who is reflected in his personal relationships with Central Asia, concluded that the perfect time is the perfect time to enhance regional connection and deepen cooperation with Uzbekistan.
