The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced its revised -for -formal natural gas prices (RLNG) in April 2025, as of April 1.
According to a notice issued by OGRA, the RLNG prices of sui nortern Gas Pipeines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL) in both the transmission and distribution sectors.
For SNGPL, the new transmission price is determined at 12.5895 USD per MMBTU, an increase of $ 1222, which reflects an increase of $ 0.5873 or 4.89 %. The distribution price was also revised to $ 13,4789 per MMBTU from 12,9499 USD, which represents an increase of 4.08 %.
On the other hand, the SSGCL transfer price increased from $ 10.6906 per MMBTU in March to $ 11.2718 in April, an increase of 5.44 %. However, its distribution price decreased slightly from 12.7255 dollars to 12,5910 USD per MMBTU, by reducing $ 0.1345 or 1.06 %.
OGRA attributed the comprehensive progressive review to the increase in the price of ships (DS) that was delivered in the international market. However, the decrease in the SSGCL distribution rate due to a decrease in the non -calculated gas percentage (UFG), which slightly reduces the cost burden on consumers in the southern region.
