The Marine Ship Building Basin delivered the Rawabi 73 ship at an official ceremony in Dubai Naval City. The Humant Tandon, the administrative director of the Dubai shipbuilding company in Dubai, called the ship to hand over a proud moment to the company and the great progress in the regional marine capabilities.
“This launch is a proud landmark of excellent marine shipbuilding basins and reflects months of engineering excellence, accuracy and cooperation,” said Tandon. “The ship has been designed for this purpose to meet the complex and advanced requirements of external operations-from oil and gas exploration to renewable energy support.”
He emphasized seeing the long -term shipbuilding basin for innovation, sustainability and design that focuses on the customer.

Speaking at the launch event in Dubai Naval City, Walter Van Erdi, General Manager of Rawabi Vallianz Foreign Services (RVOS), praised RAWABI 73 as a specific asset for the company’s external operations.
“This ship represents more than just growth for our company, it is a testimony of the power of cooperation between RVOS, Premier Marine Shipyard, Vallianz Building and Engineering, and many individuals who contributed to their experience,” Van Ardi said.
He also emphasized the ship’s role in expanding the operational fingerprint of RVOS.
“Rawabi 73, which was built according to the highest standards, is designed to enhance our efficiency, time, our ability in the oil and gas sector abroad. While joining the RVOS fleet, Rawabi 73 is scheduled to play an important role in supporting energy infrastructure abroad throughout the region and beyond.”
Rawabi 73 designed for this purpose is equipped for complex marine operations, with medium -speed diesel engines that offer strong clouds of 120 tons, dynamic location system (DP2), and a heavy work surface of 500 square meters. The ship is classified with ABS Smart and Enviro, with highlighting its digital readiness and environmental compliance.
