The UAE Deputy Prime Minister arrives in Pakistan to visit two days

Islamabad-Vice Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, arrived in Pakistan on Sunday for a two-day official visit aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation, especially in trade, investment and energy.

Upon his arrival at Islamabad, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Isaac, received a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Pakistan. The visit is expected to enhance the UAE’s economic partnership with Pakistan, which is already one of the main trading partners in the Gulf state and a major beneficiary in transfers from expatriate workforce in the United Arab Emirates.

“This high -level visit reflects the deep sister relations between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, and emphasizes the joint commitment of the two countries to enhance bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.”

During his stay, Sheikh Abdullah is scheduled to hold extensive talks with Foreign Minister Dar, with a focus on a wide range of fields including trade and investment, energy cooperation, regional security, and reinforced relations. It will also meet with Prime Minister Shaybaz Sharif, with discussions that are likely to focus on enhancing economic cooperation and harmonizing the strategic goals of regional prosperity.

The visit follows recent advertisements from the UAE ambassador to Pakistan, Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al -Habbi, who confirmed earlier this month that Pakistani citizens will be eligible for visas in the United Arab Emirates for a period of five years once you resolve procedural issues.

Officials expect to link “Pakistan-Awai”, contribute to deepening bilateral links in various fields, and benefit from the peoples of both countries.

Fashionable security measures were placed in the federal capital on Sunday evening in light of VIP visit.

Islamabad Police has issued a general consultant indicating temporary traffic disorders on the main roads including Karal Chowk, Express Highway, Khanna Pul, Faizabad, Club Road and Radio Pakistan Chowk. Passengers have been urged to use alternative methods and allow additional travel time.
