Karachi: The eleventh invitation ceremony was held on the campus of health sciences at Bahrain University (Buhsc) on April 26, 2025 in Ibn-Sena Hall. This event was conducted in two sessions: Al -Sabah session, headed by Professor Dr. Mohamed Shweib Shafi, President of the Faculty of Doctors and Surgeons in Pakistan (CPSP) and in the afternoon session by Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Chairman of the Higher Education Committee (HEC).
The ceremony was attended by officials from the Pakistani navy, a registrar of the Navy University, and distinguished members of the health sciences and the medical and medical community. The Director General of Health Sciences at the University of Bahrain, Deputy Admiral (PBUH), Atheer Mukhtar Hai (M.), delivered a warm welcome title, expressing his tremendous pride in the institution and the expansion of cardiac congratulations to the graduates on their fixed commitment, dedication and hard work in reaching this important corridor. He also advised students to practice integrity, mercy, cooperation, and seek to innovate to fulfill health challenges in our time.
After the welcoming title in both sessions, the grades were granted by the senior guests concerned, after which the department ceremony was conducted by Major General (RTD) Shehla M. Baqai Hi (M), and the Dean’s Health and Medical Sciences at Bahria University. Wall certificates and medals were granted to distinguished students, with recognition of academic excellence. In total, 285 graduates got scientific degrees across various disciplines, including MPHil, MBBS, BDS, BS Nursing, PhD in Physiotherapy (DPT) and BS Medical Lab (MLT).
In his speech at the morning session, Professor Dr. Mohamed Shweib Shafi congratulated the head of the Faculty of Doctors and Surgeons in Pakistan (CPSP) with the heat of all graduates, especially gold and silver medals. He also appreciates their hard work, along with the support of your parents, who brought them this moment of proud. Moreover, he assured the students to remain flexible and support integrity, which are essential features of this noble profession.
During the afternoon session, the main guest, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, head of the Pakistan Higher Education Committee, congratulated the graduates warmly, expressing his constant confidence in their capabilities to become leaders who are able to insight tomorrow. He participated in his joy to attend the eleventh invitation ceremony, and praised the flawless organization and the generous behavior of this event. With the appreciation of my heart, I realized the dedication and sacrifices made by the graduates throughout their academic endeavors and offered his sincere prayers to their continuous success and their prosperity in all future efforts.
