Hyderabad: The Dawud International Foundation is committed to the distribution of 10,000 animated chairs throughout Pakistan, says a press release.
In a major step towards improving access to health care in Sindh, Dawood Global Foundation, in cooperation with the Limited Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL), has distributed 350 animated chairs today to hospitals operating under the People’s Primary Care Initiative (PPHI).
The distribution ceremony was held in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Hyderabad.
The event was attended by Zahid Ali Mahisar, Regional Coordinator, OGDCL HYDERABAD, Miran Ali Shah, National Coordinator, David International Foundation; PPHI representatives from all participating areas. Zain was the first Abdeen Maimon, Deputy Commissioner, Haidar Abad, the Chief of the guest, and senior officials were present.
Their presence has strengthened the collective commitment to enhance health care services at the popular level.
Under this initiative, 50 animated chairs were provided to each of the following provinces: Hyderabad, Tando God Yar, Sanghar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Badin, Jamshuru, and Sogal. This distribution is expected to support the patient’s transfer and comfort through hospitals in these areas.
Mr. Zain, the first Abidine Maimon, Deputy Commissioner, Hyderabad, said that today’s initiative is a great example of how the public and private sectors can improve the lives of our citizens directly. He expressed his gratitude to the Dawood Global Foundation and OGDCL for their generous contribution, noting that “these moving chairs will benefit patients greatly in many areas, ensuring better care and access to everyone. We are very proud to work the institution and this great initiative led by its CEO, Tara Ozra David.”
Zahid Ali Maar also emphasized OGDCL’s continuous commitment to social responsibility. He said: “Healthcare support is still a priority in our community development programs, and we are proud to stand beside the Dawood Global Foundation, which shares our vision of the best health care for everyone.”
Speaking at the ceremony, Miran Ali Shah highlighted the importance of accessible health care facilities, saying: “Access to basic health care equipment such as moving chairs is very important to ensure dignity, comfort and fastest recovery for patients. Supports.”
