Pakistan is scheduled to offer the largest fast charging network to access electric cars (EVS) through a new cooperation between Pakistan and Hubco Green (Private) Limited.
According to media reports, the initiative aims to install 128 DC Fast Charries over the next three years, with the first 50 shipments that are scheduled to operate by December 2025.
The new network will focus on three main areas: urban centers, highways between cities, and high traffic sites such as shopping centers and hospitals.
In urban areas, installation will include partnerships with major oil marketing companies such as PSO, Parco Gunvor and Attock Petroleum.
Along highways, charging stations will be placed strategically every 150 to 200 km to facilitate long -distance travel.
In addition, high -motion commercial places will customize destination stations, which increases access to EV owners.
Initial facilities are already underway in major cities such as Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, especially in PSO service stations and Pakistan BYD merchants.
This step is expected to enhance EV dramatically by providing the infrastructure that affects the need to support electric cars throughout the country.
