The United Arab Emirates (United Arab Emirates) is scheduled to offer artificial intelligence (AI) as a subject in its curriculum in public schools, starting from the next academic year.
This announcement was issued by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and the ruler of Dubai, on Sunday, May 4, through his official account on social media.
This initiative is part of the UAE’s broader vision to prepare future generations with the skills needed to move in a rapidly developed technological scene. Artificial intelligence will be combined into the curriculum for all students, from kindergarten to grades 12.
Sheikh Muhammad expressed his confidence in the efforts of the Ministry of Education to develop a comprehensive approach to Amnesty International. He stressed that artificial intelligence is ready to change how the world works mainly, and the government aims to ensure students gain a strong technical understanding of Amnesty International, as well as awareness of its moral effects.
The curriculum will cover topics such as data, algorithms, practical applications, potential risks and societal influences of Amnesty International.
Sheikh Muhammad said: “We are responsible for preparing our children for a future unlike the present.” “We must prepare them with new skills and capabilities to ensure continued progress and develop our nation.”
In addition, on June 12, the Crown Prince in Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, announced plans for schools in Dubai to employ qualified teachers for AI. A new training program will also be presented to provide teachers with the knowledge and tools necessary to actively teach artificial intelligence.
This step by the United Arab Emirates government reflects its commitment to preparing students for the future and ensuring that it is good in one of the most transformational techniques in the modern era.
