Jackie Chan says Hollywood Stantt’s work is not what it was.
In a recent session with Haute Living, the legendary actor and martial artist shared his ideas on the current situation of Hollywood exciting works, which, unlike Chan’s Day, dominated by CGI and Wirework deception.
“On the old days, the only option we had) was to be there and jump; that’s all.” “Today, with computers, actors can do anything, but there is always a feeling of reality that you feel missing.”
He continued, “It is a double -edged sword. On the one hand, the actors become more and more able to do exciting works with the help of technology, however, on the other hand, the concept of danger and limit is increasing and the audience is numb (so), but I do not encourage anyone to risk his life for exciting works as I did; it is very dangerous.”
Chan, a march, watched his fair share of the big movement in “Drunken Master”, “Story Story” and “Rush Hour”. Even at the age of 71, he has no plans to slow down.
“Of course, I always do my exciting work. It is what I am,” Chan said. “This does not change until the day I retire, and it is never! To be honest, when you do it for 64 years in a row, there is no longer my physical preparation. Everything is in your heart and soul; it’s muscle memory.”
The next Chan project is “Karate Kid: Legends”, which was launched on May 30. Championship alongside Ralph McCio and Ben Wang, Chan will return his role to Mr. Han from the “Karate Kid” edition 2010.
