Beijing: The Pakistani embassy and the Pakistani Women’s Association in Beijing (PWAB), led by Marium Mahmoud, the wife of Pakistan’s ambassador to China, organized on Sunday. A press release says that a number of shepherds have generously contributed to the collection of donations to help children fighting thalassemia, a blood disorder that requires life treatment.
Speaking on this occasion, the Ambassador of Pakistan in China, Khalil Hashemi, stressed the importance of the event as a noble reason to support the large number of children with Thalassemia. He expressed his appreciation for PWAB for dedicated efforts, and the generosity of donors for their generous contributions. He also expressed his appreciation to the audience, which includes a cross -section of Chinese society and the diplomatic legion to become part of this event.
The ambassador was also reflected in the contemporary global and regional challenges, especially the serious violations of international law, as well as the cold killing of children and innocent civilians in Gaza by the occupation regime.
