Islamabad: In an attempt to digitize the economy, the Public Procurement Organization (PPR) has launched an advanced system of electronic purchases, allowing the registration of more than 28,000 suppliers, including 400 foreign companies.

According to the details, PPRA, after a strong framework and international standards, presented the acquisition and disposal system of E-PAK (E-Pads), which eroded the entire purchase. Thousands of sellers have already registered on this modern electronic purchasing platform, including foreign companies that can now register within 24 hours after checking the Federal Revenue Council, the Securities and Stock Exchange Committee in Pakistan.

Suppliers can participate in public purchases from their mobile phones or laptops, and obstacles such as visiting the office have been removed and the price of tender documents is paid. All tasks resulting from purchasing planning, giving and bidding analysis are now performed to grant contracts through a safe, innovative and easy -to -use platform online.

According to the Managing Director PPRA Hasnat Ahmed Qureshi, the E-Pads is an guaranteed automatic system that completely restricts human intervention, so that no individual including MD PPRA can interfere in its operations. Regular security audits are performed and possible records are accessed through the registry system in case of complaints. This security system in the dualism and reduce human intervention is to increase transparency and accountability.
